Position: System Engineer and Architecture

Location: Shanghai

Job Description:

The IP Transport SWDM System Engineering and Architecture (SEA) team primary tasks are to translate customers & Product Management's feature requests into detailed product design architecture and specifications, to provide technical & directional support to R&D Development and Validation teams, Product Management team and Customer Support team.

Responsibilities of this position (not limited to):

a)OpticalcomponentspecificationsforpassiveandactivecomponentsusedinDWDMtransportsystem;
b)OpticalarchitectureworkforDWDMtransportsystems;
c)Opticalsystemlevelanddevicelevelsimulation;
d)Extensivehands-onlabwork;
e)Documentationoftestandanalysisresults;

Qualifications:

a)MSorPhDinEEorphysicsorequivalentworkexperienceinopticalorelectricalengineering;
b)Professionalelectrical/opticalengineeringexperiencepreferred;
c)ExtensiveknowledgeofDWDMtransmissionanddevices;
d)Intensiveknowledgeofthemodelingofopticalsignaltonoiseratio,crosstalk,andRamanamplificationinDWDMsystems;
e)ExperiencewithDWDMsystemtestingisaplus;
f)FamiliarwithMatlaborsimilarsimulationtoolisaplus;
g)Willingtodohands-onlabwork;
h)Strongdocumentationandcommunicationskills;
i)GoodEnglishreadingandwritingskill;
j)Teamworkplayer,self-motivated;
k)Guarantee3-4workingdaysperweek
