Primary responsibilities:

Develop detailed understanding of product competition in new product development areas. For example, Dynamics CRM, mobile devices and any other areas AvePoint decides to invest in.
Research, analyze and present information on potential competitors and associated competitive products.

Qualifications and Skills:

A technical major (e.g. Computer Science, IT, Math, Engineering etc.). A non-technical major is also acceptable so long as the skills below are satisfied.
Excellent analytical skills: Able to solve problems and explain reasoning behind solutions/opinions/recommendations
Good English speaking and writing skills.
Passion for latest hardware and software technologies, consumer devices/innovative technologies.
Previous experience in enterprise applications, commercial off the shelf software (COTS), Manufacturing systems, HR systems etc. would be very helpful but is not a must.
