Senior Researcher / Researcher (高級研究員 / 研究員)

 

Location: Hong Kong (香港)

Department: Wisers Research

Responsibilities:

工作職責:

1. Conduct research in text analytics, image recognition, information retrieval, machine learning, and natural language processing technologies.
   進行文本處理、圖像識別、信息檢索、機器學習、及自然語言處理等相關領域的技術研究。
2. Carry out proof-of-principle (POP) and proof-of-concept (POC) activities to produce original or innovative solutions in Chinese media information search and intelligence service.
   針對中文媒體的智能信息與檢索服務，提出原始的或創新的技術解決方案，並通過嚴謹科學的原理證明與概念實現等步驟以評估其可行性。
3. Partner with software engineers to produce prototypes and demos.
   協同軟件工程師對研究成果進行原型及演示產品開發。
4. Work with other stakeholders on technology transfer and product realization.
   協同相關部門合作進行科技成果轉化與產品實現。
5. Collaborate with partners on research projects.
   開展同第三方夥伴合作的研究項目。
6. Intellectual property extraction from projects and research.
   從項目和研究中進行知識產權的提取。

 

Requirements:

职位要求：

1. PhD degree in computer science and engineering, information science, statistics or relevant fields with a strong academic record.
   計算機科學與工程、信息科學、統計學或其它相關專業的博士學位及優良的學術記錄。
2. Research experience in at least one of the following areas – text analytics, image recognition, information retrieval, machine learning, and natural language processing.
   具有在文本處理、圖像識別、信息檢索、機器學習、或自然語言處理等相關領域的研究經驗與實踐。
3. Demonstrating strong numerical and reasoning skills with good understanding in research methodology.
   傑出的數學與推理能力並對研究方法有良好的認知。
4. Master at least one programming language (Java, Python, R, Matlab).
   熟練掌握至少一門編程語言(Java, Python, R, Matlab)。
5. Able to work independently but also in a team environment.
   善於獨立完成工作，同時具備良好的團隊協作能力。
6. Good communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
   具備良好的溝通表達與技術報告書寫等能力。
7. Good language skills of both English and Chinese.
   同時具備良好的中文與英文的讀寫溝通能力。
8. Passionate about technology innovation and new technologies.
   對技術創新和前沿技術的研究與開發充滿熱情。
9. Successful candidates will be awarded with a title matching their experience and skills.
