Position Title: Scientist
Location: Kangqiao, Industrial Park, Shanghai
Primary Responsibilities:
· Plans and executes moderately sized, moderately complex multi-disciplinary research projects within predefined deadlines
o Requests and leverages resources as required; prioritizes work streams and deadlines for team members for specific research projects
o Ensures consistent performance of products
o Identifies milestones, sets timelines, and ensures coordination with other process owners
o Continuously assesses and addresses safety risks for himself or herself
o Provides input to the business case; communicates key information to drive technical decisions within the business unit
· Improves and modifies existing technologies, catalysts, products, and procedures with tangible business impact
· Presents technical papers in regional or international conferences/meetings
· Leads, develops, coaches and mentors program team
· Participates in community corporate citizenship events
· Owns a specific process or application within the TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION group
Qualifications Required:
· Ph.D. in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required
· No minimum years of relevant experience in related field required with a PhD (greater number of years of experience with lesser degree of education)
· Strong analytical skills
· Demonstrated communication and writing skills
· Practical experience in running experiments
· Project management skills
· Ability to draft and present technical papers and reports

Qualifications Required:
· Master’s degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required
· No minimum years of relevant experience in related field required with a Master’s degree (greater number of years of experience with lesser degree of education)
· Demonstrated analytical skills
· Demonstrated communication and writing skills
· Ability to comprehend technical papers and reports
· Practical experience in running experiments
· Basic project management skills
