Operations Leadership Development Program

This two-year program will give you the exciting opportunity to be Delphi's next generation of leadership. It provides rotation through four assignments within operations over an approximate 27-month period.  You will get broad-based experience through assignments in manufacturing management, production control & logistics, manufacturing engineering and product quality control.  These positions will primarily be in our manufacturing plants worldwide.

What to Expect:

Through these assignments, along with specific job-related training, you will be expected to quickly learn the many facets of building & supplying high tech and high quality parts throughout the automotive supply chain. Following successful completion of this rigorous program, employees are placed in positions that continue to provide development opportunities and increasing responsibility.

• Developing a solid understanding of multiple Operations & Supply Chain disciplines and greater appreciation for successful coordination between functions & businesses
• Long-dated employment contract
• Ability to participate in ongoing professional education, professional activities and events where you can network with fellow interns and senior leadership both inside and outside of the Operations organization, attend management presentations on topics, such as presentation skills and leadership.

Duration: Two Years

Business Areas: Throughout the Operations organization, both centrally and within our divisions, in all functions across the Operations organization, includes Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Production Control and Logistics.

We are looking for:

• Fluent English skills (knowledge of a second European language will be an advantage)
• Students or graduates of Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Detail oriented
• Lean knowledge
• Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks and prioritizing to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Campus leadership positions
• Open-minded people with willingness for travelling and working abroad
• Candidates with multinational experience (not required)
