Job Description: • Be responsible for one or several module of firmware functionality, analyze firmware requirement and review design document, based on the understanding compose test plan. • Develop test script using C++ language according to test plan. • Provide feedback to firmware design document to optimize and improve FW quality. • Work in sync with FW development phase, run test script and analyze test result, report defects. • Communicate effectively with cross functional teams to ensure defects reported are being fixed and verified. • Constantly improve test coverage to ensure no defect escape. • Seek opportunity to implement test automation to increase test efficiency and capacity. Requirements/Qualifications (Education): • MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering is required • Related storage experience will be plus • Experience in software testing, debugging, problem creation and trapping. • Communicate effectively in a team, able to multitask effectively in fast-paced environment • C / C++ Programming experience is mandatory • Able to work at least 3 days every week. |

As an Emulation Engineer, you need understand the product requirement, draft partition level or system level test plan, and develop diagnostic Firmware with C language to verify product functionality and performance based on enormous FPGA system and Palladium platform. Our products are second generation of mass storage controller with advanced multi-core processors. You can participate in all aspects of design and product development through introduction and release. Requirements/Qualifications (Education): • FPGA or IC Design background is required • C / C++ Programming experience in school project is preferred • Experience in pre-silicon testing / validation methodology is strong plus • Experience in Firmware Development on Embedded system is strong plus • MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering is required |
