In Beijing we have an established team
of almost 20 lawyers, all of whom have considerable experience in the PRC. Our
experience in China goes back more than 30 years. Our team has advised
international clients across a broad range of industries for over a decade. We
are highly regarded for our work, particularly for our advice on infrastructure
projects, foreign direct investment, debt recovery, mergers and acquisitions,
and arbitration.
We are currently having intern
vacancies in our Beijing Office. The internship programme in Beijing aims to
explain what it is like to work at an international law firm. As an intern, you
will participate in the training programmes as the other lawyers, and will be
given the opportunity to be involved in practice and experience different
aspects of the law. And some interns have progressed to be selected to join our
Beijing Office.
Overview
Vacancy: Intern
Location: Beijing
Department: Banking / Corporate
Period: Between three and six months since December 2014 and January 2015
Work schedule: on full time basis or four days a week
Requirements:
- Students who are in their penultimate year of study or in the final
year of their LLB or LLM from leading law schools in Beijing
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Bar qualification is preferable, but not a must
- Previous internship experience with law firms would be an advantage
