JOB TITLE:Agent Ticket Sales CTO

LOCATION:BJS

LEVEL:42

REPORTING TO:Sales Manager Northern China

MAIN OBJECTIVES:

Engage in ticketing sales activities in compliance with ticketing/tariff rules and meeting AA’s high standards of service.

Provide efficient and effective support to the managers and sales team.

Key Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)

Process sales, refunds, issue or reissue of tickets and other documents based on the ticketing/tariff rules set forth by IATA and the company.

Reconcile cash, receipts and daily ATAC report.

Act as a travel consultant in the planning of itineraries and fare quotation explaining all rules and conditions.

Assist travel agencies, internal and external customers in providing fare calculation and tariff information.

Proactively sell American Airlines and One World partner products with constantly positioning American Airlines and the Oneworld alliance as leading partners.

Answer ticketing related inquiries from Travel Agencies, Reservations, other CTO and ATO.

Handle preliminary ticketing related complaints from customers or travel agencies and provide positive solutions.

Provide efficient and effective sales and administration support to the managers and the sales team.

Assist the manager and the sales team by providing an organized administrative environment, which enables the team to work efficiently.

Support the manger and sales team by being the telephone point of contact for the corporate customers and their handling agents.

Act as a contact window and transfer customer complaints handling/claims to BRO.

Undertake ad hoc tasks assigned by sales manager and support Marketing/Sales administrative jobs and activates proactively.

 

Core Competencies & Skills Required:

Strong capability of conducting communications with fluent spoken and written English as well as local language

Communicate effectively with both external and internal customers

Adequate knowledge of ticketing rules/procedures and Sabre functions

Strong willingness to treat customers with courtesy and respect

Must be flexible in working hours to accommodate operational needs and requirements, willingness to travel as necessary

Good team work player and excellent telephone manner

Self-motivated and possess a positive attitude

Have good common sense and able to handle stress and high work volume in a professional manner
