Consumer Insights Intern
Our Consumer Insight Division is based in Shanghai and is adding to our service offerings by focusing on the voice of the affluent consumers and on a deep understanding of their motivations and behaviors. To this end we are seeking to add an intern to our CI Team complement to enable and support the implementation of our ambitious business plan for the Division.
In this position, reporting to our Head of Consumer Insight, Asia Pacific, you will be an integral team member to support our Consumer Insight qualitative and quantitative service offerings and deliveries. Your primary responsibilities include:
Support the CI team on various research studies, and generate deep and actionable consumer insights for our premium and luxury brand clients that craft a story, drive smarter decisions for them and improve their business results.
Contribute to CI business development activities
Learn how to develop appropriate research approach, methodology, survey instruments and tools to meet Consumer Insight projects’ objectives and timelines
This is a fun and challenging role for an entrepreneurial, consumer-centric and passionate professional who is interested to develop experience in marketing strategy and market research. It is also an exciting opportunity to work with the biggest names in premium and luxury brands. The ideal candidate should have the following credentials:
Undergraduate candidate for B.S. degree in business, economics or statistics. Or MBA or master degree candidate in Market Research or Marketing is preferred
For advanced degree candidate, a minimum of 1 to 3 years of work experience is required
Experience with in-depth data analysis and creating business presentation in PowerPoint are a must
Experience in consumer and retail industries, especially luxury industry is a plus
Working knowledge of survey methodologies, database management, analytics and other data-mining tools is a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Fluency in English.
Working knowledge of a second language is preferred (Asian or European)
