Job Purpose

- Lead R&D floor projects allowing the development of novel and innovative premix solutions (products and systems).

- Cooperate with the Marketing Product Manager during the projects definition, follow up and launch on the market

- Lead maintenance projects to reduce RMP, align formulations and systems, and support their implementation in cooperation with the purchasing and industrial teams

Main Responsibilities

• Manage R&D projects from its definition to the full development of the solution,
• Co-responsible with Marketing Product Manager of the SGW Innovation process,
• Ensure that the potentially new solutions are free from any EHS and Purchasing risks,
• Support patent filing to protect the Intellectual properties of premix solutions,
• Responsible for the project’s reporting: project management files, progress and final reports, presentations,

Job Requirements

Education

·         Degree in materials science and/or building physics

·         Strong experience in building Industry (concrete, cement, formulations…)

Knowledge /Experience /Technical competencies

·         Strong ability in providing operational solutions

·         R&D Project Management skills are required: definition, team monitoring, communication, to meet deadline and budget…

·         Knowledge of construction markets, building solutions, cement, safety regulations

Skills and Abilities

·         Good level of English

·         Capacity to adapt in a multicultural environment

·         Capacity to analyse and synthesis

·         Teaching skills
