Enterprise Manager is Oracle's systems management product. Enterprise Manager improves manageability of entire Oracle eco-system. Customers benefit from higher levels of automation and lower total cost of ownership when deploying and operating Oracle software. This is a strategic area of expansion for Oracle as we group our data center presence and build more comprehensive offerings again the likes of Oracle's competition.
Enterprise Manager (EM) is web-based application that is built using standard middle-tier technologies including Java, J2EE, JDBC, JSP, XML and etc. Enterprise Manager - Database Management team is responsible for developing technology to manage core database functionality including Oracle Performance Diagnostics & Tuning, Oracle Real Application Clusters, Database Services for Cloud and Analytics support. Oracle Database Management is the one of most important aspects of Enterprise Manager and has a high visibility to executive management. EM Database Management team provides functionality that is foundation for the rest of the monitoring and management such as modeling, discovery and metrics. The team works closely with Enterprise Manager Framework and database architects right from the conceptual stages of any new initiatives and influences their design and functionality. Team members are involved in all aspects of software life cycle - requirements analysis, design, development and test automation. All the team members work on cutting edge technology, get exposure to new initiatives taking shape in Oracle enterprise software stack and work on end-to-end product (user interface to complex backend logic).

Responsibilities: As a member of the Database Provisioning team, your responsibilities include:
- Participate in the entire software development life cycle
- Assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Key Skills Required:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
- Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills (both written and spoken English).
- Product design &development experience in Java / J2EE technologies (JSP/Servlet) is required
- Database fundamentals, SQL, JDBC, and PL/SQL knowledge is required
- Proficiency in one or more of script development (e.g. Perl, Shell), XML/HTML is a plus
