职位描述	Looking to hire an experienced software developer for their Part Manufacturing group. The candidate will have a background in developing leading edge Computer Aided Manufacturing software for the Automotive, Aerospace and Machinery industries. In the role of a Software Engineer, the candidate will create, enhance and maintain innovative manufacturing software solutions within our NX product suite. The position involves working closely with customers and team members across the globe on a daily basis. The candidate is expected to be a self-starter and to have a good understanding of the software delivery lifecycle and be able to use it to achieve on-time completion of high quality product deliverables. Prerequisites and Essential Functions Required: • 2 or more years of experience in implementing 3D Geometric algorithms in C++ using advanced design principles and patterns • Masters or higher degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science • Experience with project management tools and processes • Good English Language skills, both written and spoken Strongly desired: • 2 or more years of experience in developing CAD/CAM/CAE/Digital Simulation application software. • Experience in developing and implementing algorithms for Fixed or Multi Axis Machining toolpath generation • 2 or more years of exposure to CAM software as a developer or an end-user Desired : • Experience in user interface and infrastructure for CAD/CAM/CAE/Digital Simulation application software • Experience with unit and system testing of CAD/CAM/CAE/Simulation application software • Experience of working in an Agile/Lean development environment

职位描述	What are my responsibilities? This position is as a Software Engineer working on a large commercial CAD application. The employee will perform design and software programming for the NX CAD product with focus on surpassing customer expectations and achieving high quality and on-time delivery. The position requires performing all of the SDLC steps of software design for one area of a product. The employee will create, document and execute software designs for focused product areas. Some customer interaction may berequired. • Contributes individually or in a team as needed to meet the requirements of various projects • Maintains existing software code and resolves customer and internally reported problems • Able to write clean, robust and maintainable code to minimize the cost of defects over time. • Works with customers to understand and improve existing code for their area. • Follows the various steps in the SDLC process including writing design documents and coding. What do I need to qualify for this job? Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other numerate discipline from a reputed institute. • Product development experience will be a plus, as will familiarity with the software development life cycle. • Experience creating/usingPiping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) is a plus Skills: • Must have a strong knowledge of C++ • Knowledge of advanced data structures, object oriented analysis and design • Must have demonstrated skills in design and programming • Desired to have knowledge of advanced algorithms in the CAD/CAM/CAE or graphics domain • Ability to continually improve and learn new areas Other: • Ability to work well in a team • Proactive • Easy to get along with • Capable of independent work as well as collaborative development
