Job Description:
Location China, Shanghai
The team
IBM System Z Performance Tools Team in China is responsible to design, develop, and maintain the performance tools to analyze performance issue on System Z.
The job
We are looking for talents, self-motivated, fast-learning, and with passion. The candidates will be involved with all aspects of software life cycle, own the design, implantation, and testing of all features, and work closely with world-wide team.
Required Skills
- MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline is required
- Self-motivated, fast learner and passionate
- Good at C or Java programming
- Experienced in working on Linux/Unix. Knowing shell scripting is a plus. Knowing z/OS is a plus
- Familiar with computer architecture, including processor architecture like pipelining and memory hierarchy like caching
- Having experience in performance analysis or tuning is a plus
- Good communication skills and team players
- Fluent in English reading and writing
- Intermediate in English listening and speaking
