Analytics at Deloitte China (Shanghai – fluency in Chinese
required)
As one of the largest and most comprehensive advisory organization in the Asia Pacific region, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services ("FAS") practice provide our clients full range of services. The Data Analytics team within FAS is offering internships in Shanghai, which would involve various tasks and responsibilities, including but not limited to:
· Market research and survey: Questionnaire design, data processing, analysis, reporting and editing;
· Design and execution of statistical tests, interpretation and reporting of results;
· Generation, evaluation and deployment of predictive models;
· Creation, management, and utilization of high performance relational databases (SQL Server 2008, Oracle 10g, Microsoft Access, OLAP and other proprietary software);
· Evaluation, preparation and cleansing of data sets for further analysis;
· Query and mining of large data sets with the objective to discover transaction patterns - using traditional as well as advanced analytic methodologies;
· Design and development of user-defined application modules, database reports and user interfaces;
· Provide assistance for team members and clients.
Required skills include the following:
· University or post graduate students, major in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or software engineering;
· Practical experience with analytics tools, for example SAS, SPSS, R, or Python;
· General programming and database skills;
· Professional stance;
· Good command of English;
· Must be fluent in Chinese.
