We work with clients at leadership, executive and research levels to deliver clear insight into China's policy world as it affects strategic and operational decision-making at home in China, and around the world.
job summary
We are seeking an analyst to work with our Research Manager in Qingdao on our agriculture and/or marine policy portfolio. Please note this role is based in Qingdao.
responsibilities
· keep abreast of policy events, trends, key figures and discussion to produce quality analysis
· analyse and assess policy developments across relevant sectors
· develop people and organisation profiles
· some translation of policy-relevant articles from Chinese to English
· collaborate with research staff on commissioned client research projects
· generally assist the research manager
knowledge and skills
· masters level in agriculture, fishery, marine, politics, law or relevant area
· professional standard of English
· native-level Chinese
· eye for detail and clear communicator
· interest in closely following Chinese policy debates
· flexible and able to take initiative
· ability to deliver work on time
