MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:      
 
    Provide first level, 7x24 hours support to IS production systems in Micron Xian.
    Submit any cases correctly and in time.
    Provide helpdesk support after office hours.
    Provide systems and Backend application monitoring.
    Implement IS hardware and software systems into the manufacturing process for the purpose of increasing productivity and quality of the business process.
Work closely with IS engineers to setup IS facilities for production.
    Maintain all IS equipments in production area.
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
Have verbal and written communication skills in English.
University or college graduate in Computer Science or related discipline.
Good customer interface skills
·  Window XP client. Candidates with MCSE will be an advantage.
·  LAN/WAN Networking knowledge. Have experience in network.
·  Basic knowledge for application support.
·  Cabling job knowledge.
Prefer 2 years of experience in managing mission critical IS systems in 7x24 hours high volume electronics manufacturing environment.
Ability to work in an environment to provide 24 x 7 supports.

JOD DESCRIPTION 
    As a Back End Site Quality Engineer at Micron, you will work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Corporate QMS, QRA, Central Teams, Product Engineering, and other areas to develop a best in class quality culture and drive improvements in Micron’s quality. You will be responsible for reducing variation and driving resolution to deviations in the back end manufacturing areas. In addition, you will work with business partners and key stakeholders to develop strategies for continuous improvement in product quality and process controls and provide support for customer related issues and activities.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TESKS

Improve Performance and Reduce Deviations  
· Drive site focus on improving performance variation and reducing deviations that impact product quality  
· Promote and drive projects and business processes that will reduce overall process and equipment variation  
· Implement, promote and utilize effective problem solving tools and techniques to drive closure on deviations.  
· Develop, manage, and/or communicate quality line of site metrics and goals  
· Drive continuous improvement in quality metrics  
Support Management Initiative and Customer-Related Activities  
· Support strategic vision and quality program/project management Initiatives  
· Provide support for customer related activities (i.e. audits, visits, presentations, reports, requests etc.)  
· Develop and maintain a working knowledge of internal quality tools, quality concepts, ISO 9001, ISO TS 16949, and Micron’s Quality Manual  
Adhere to and Promote Safety  
· Identify and promptly report hazards  
· Follow safety procedures and area work rules including proper PPE, lockout and chemical safety.  
· Operate and maintain equipment and tools within manufacturer’s and company guidelines  
· Use proper lifting techniques and work in an ergonomically correct manner  

  
 
 
Education 
Required 
Master or Bachelors Degree:  
·Engineering – Electrical/Computerization/Statistics/Materials , etc.
