1、Embedded SW-Engineer (Audio)
Location: Beijing
Essential Job Functions:
? Maintain and setup the embedded boards used in the engineering team.
? Maintain and setup the shared Linux environment for the engineering team.
? Implement Dolby’s audio signal processing algorithms for both floating-point and fixed-point platforms.
? Port and optimize audio signal processing algorithms to embedded fixed-point devices in a timely manner.
? Write code, following best practices in embedded SW-engineering, leading to well documented, reliable and easy to maintain SW-components.
? Validate and maintain correct behavior of SW-components via automated unit tests.
? Serve as a team member with responsibility for maintaining embedded sub-components.
? Work together with the development teams in the US, Germany and Australia to improve Dolby’s products.
? Be a local resource on embedded Dolby audio technologies by combining an understanding of algorithmic behavior with a good knowledge of processor architectures.
? Seek to increase knowledge by attending internal and external trainings and conferences.
? Contribute ideas for new technologies, tools, or methodologies.
Teamwork & Communications:
? Share relevant information within the project team.

Education, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
? B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or comparable field is required.
? C/C programming skills under Linux environments is required.
? Strong interest with technical work and industry trend is required.
? Familiar with embedded operating systems is desirable.
? Good English spoken and written communication skill is a plus.
? Good understanding of development/debugging on embedded simulators/hardware devices is a plus.
? 1-2 years professional experience in porting and optimization of signal processing algorithms to embedded platforms for B.S is required, for M.S is a strong plus.
? Good understanding of at least one assembly language is a plus.
? Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl or Python is a strong plus.
2、Senior SW-Engineer
Location: Beijing
Essential Job Functions:
? Facilitate the development team to build a self-organized Scrum team.
? Implement Dolby’s audio signal processing algorithms for both floating-point and fixed-point platforms.
? Write code, following best practices in embedded SW-engineering, leading to well documented, reliable and easy to maintain SW-components.
? Validate and maintain correct behavior of SW-components via automated unit tests.
? Take on responsibility for maintaining certain core embedded SW-components.
Technical Leadership:
? Be a local technical expert on Dolby audio technologies by combining a good understanding of algorithmic behavior with a deep knowledge of processor architectures.
? Maintain an awareness of competitors in the same area.
? Seek to increase knowledge by attending internal and external trainings and conferences.
? Contribute ideas for new technologies, tools, or methodologies.
Teamwork & Communications:
? Ensure that relevant information is shared within the project team.
? Promote a positive work environment.
? Demonstrate sensitivity in working with others.
? Readily accept input from other team members.
? Work together with the development teams in the US, Germany and Australia to improve Dolby’s products.
? Provide technical assistance and expertise to non-engineering teams such as Research.
Education, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
? B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or comparable field is required.
? Comprehensive understanding about Scrum Process is required. Certified Scrum Master or equivalent would be a plus
? C programming skills under Windows and Linux environments is required.
? Excellent English spoken and written communication skills are required.
? 3 years professional experience in porting and optimization of signal processing algorithms to embedded platforms is required
? Problem solving skills and ability to work towards strict timelines is required.
? Deep understanding of at least one assembly language is a plus.
? Experience of development/debugging on embedded simulators/hardware devices via for example JTAG is a plus.
? Familiar with embedded real time operating systems is a plus.
? Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl or Python is a plus.
3、Senior Researcher (Voice and Signal Processing Research)
Location: Beijing
Education, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
? Master Degree (required) plus 3-5 years of relevant experience in an industrial Research environment or fresh Ph.D in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or another related field
? Demonstrated ability to create fundamentally new, novel (patentable) signal processing technologies and algorithms
? Proficient in advanced theory and application of signal processing techniques
? Highly skilled in C/C language and Matlab programming
? Proficient in advanced theory and application of signal processing techniques
? Team-oriented work ethic and interest to work in cross-continental teams
? Strong personal interest sound technologies and in learning, researching, and creating relevant new technologies with high commercial impact
? Independent, self-motivated worker requiring minimal supervision
? Fluent in Chinese and English. Excellent communication skills
Strongly Desired:
? Experience with VoIP technologies as such network resiliency, Quality-of-service, Speech enhancement, noise reduction.
? Experience working in a software development team, including software version control
? Experience in VoIP technologies, familiar with one of the components in a typical
? Good background in network programming
