We are currently looking
for high caliber fresh graduates to join us in Shanghai.
Responsibilities:
A) Search
An associate works very closely with Executive Search Consultants, and
supports the later in all search matters, from job briefing to candidate
documentation.
1.
Job briefing: through a job briefing by the
consultant, the associate needs to gain clear understanding about a search
assignment, based on both written document (normally a job description provided
by the client) and verbal communication with the consultants. Such
understanding involves:
a)
The requirements for the
position, e.g. the qualification, experience, and personal attributes a
candidate must have to fill a position;
b)
The relevant organization
structure and reporting lines for the position;
c)
The appropriate package range
for the position;
d)
The potential career
development path for the successful candidate.
2.
Target listing: develop a detailed search
strategy and identify the relevant companies to target. Such companies include
not only the client's direct competitors, but also other enterprises that may
house likely candidates.
3.
Candidate sourcing: identify and uncover
individuals in an organization using the database, market sources, contacts and
cold-calling to produce an accurate, up-to-date list of likely candidates to generate
sufficient leads for potential candidates within the deadline.
4.
Pitching: contact the likely candidates sourced,
introduce the job opportunity to them, understand their background, interest
level in the job, compensation scheme, and other required information about
them.
5.
Database maintenance: register required information
about the candidates pitched into a spreadsheet or any other form of database.
6.
Initial screening: conduct the initial screening on
the likely candidates, primarily through CV reading and telephone interviewing,
to determine each candidate's suitability to a job based on his / her skills, knowledge
base, experience, career aspirations, compensation and record of achievements.
7.
Identifying a shortlist: identify a shortlist of
high quality candidates within the deadline.
8.
Candidate presentation: summarize shortlisted candidates'
experiences, qualifications, achievements, motivation, compensation, and
expectation, etc., which will be presented to the clients.
9.
Communication with non-shortlisted candidate: timely follow up to ensure closed-loop feedback to every candidate
pitched.
B)
Ad-hoc work
Besides search, An associate is also expected to do other ad-hoc jobs
under the supervision of the consultants, including but not limited to the
following: CV typing, industry research and mapping, office administration, etc.
Requirement:
l
Diploma or Bachelor's degree
holder
l
High curiosity and strong
interest in the executive search industry
l
Practical experience of using English;
writing is essentially required, speaking is preferred
l
Optimistic and extroverted
l
Pleasant personality with
likeable voice, courtesy, and self-confidence
l
Has the courage to make
cold-calls, i.e. to find out a likely candidate by calling into an organization
without knowing upfront the candidate's exact information (e.g. name, job
title, etc.)
l
Possesses basic business knowledge,
e.g. major players in various industries, typical structure and major functions
of a commercial organization, etc.
l
Willing to help, easy to make
friends and has high popularity among people surrounding him / her
l
Able to work under pressure, within
deadlines, and with attention to details
l
Focus on long term career
development opportunities
l
Proficient user of Microsoft
Office software, mainly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Salary:
Negotiable, and depends on the qualification of the
applicant.
