About Herbert Smith Freehills LLP

We are one of the world's leading law firms. We have 2,800 lawyers, including over 460 partners, in over 20 offices spanning Asia, Europe, Australia, the US and the Middle East. We work for some of the biggest and most ambitious multinationals across all major regions of the world. We are the largest, fully-integrated law firm in Asia Pacific.

Our corporate practice includes China-related mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment, competition law, regulatory compliance, general corporate and employment, outbound investment projects, infrastructure, energy and international trade. Our disputes team practice focuses primarily on Asia-related international arbitration proceedings involving a variety of institutions and seats (including mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Stockholm, among others) and also handles other disputes-related matters in the region, including advising on anti-corruption and competition issues.

Our culture is collegiate and supportive, and within the office we value both teamwork and individualism.

Like other foreign law firms in China, we are permitted (among other things) to provide information on the impact of the Chinese legal environment.
