Technical Service Engineer

l  Primary Function

l  Lab experiment and technical support on customer site.

l  Serves as a key technical interface.

l  Takes out to the field product introductions with sales person. 

l  Prepares and conducts effective presentations and technical proposals to customers. 

l  Responsible for successful implementation of quality and/or process improvements.  Develops and implements tactical plans to demonstrate value of new and current ISD technologies to customers.

Business

  • Applies knowledge of competitor activities to incorporate / differentiate Ingredion products and technologies.  
  • Experienced in statistical analysis and DOE. Demonstrated root cause problem solving skills. 
  • Recommends new products and formulations to address changes in customer specifications and requirements. 
  • Develops and conducts field tests of product or process capabilities to ensure customer requirements are met.  
  • Effectively directs technicians in carrying out project related assignments.
  • Has thorough understanding of ISD product integration with customer applications and manufacturing processes.

  • Interprets results and draws conclusions from data gathering and makes recommendations including identification of new product, application or formulation opportunities.
  • Completes strategic projects that contribute to meeting significant business goals or maintaining key business.

  • Working experience in paper mill (Paper machine) or paper chemical supplier (Wet End Chemical) or combination is preferred
  • Spoken and written English and Chinese

  • Possess detail and analytical skills, ability to conduct presentation and report writing.
