The individual in this position will be a member of the technical support team of Thorlabs China. Alongside with other team members, this person will be responsible for providing technical support to customers based at Mainland China and Hong Kong, ensuring the core value of Thorlabs, which is customer centricity, and satisfaction of Thorlabs services and products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
职责描述

1.    
Provide technical support and answer customers’ technical questions via phone, email and online web support tool;

2.    
Select appropriate products and provide solutions according to customers’’ requirements by means of reproducing customers’ setup in lab or cooperating with other entities of Thorlabs, etc;

3.    
Arrange the return and repair process for malfunctioned products;

4.    
Provide customers with installation and training service on large-scale equipment;

5.    
Work with R & D engineer to test prototypes;

6.    
Generate new product ideas and assist in designing new product;

7.    
Attend conferences and trade shows and set up Demos;

8.    
Work with marketing personnel to give proof-reading for translated technical documents;

9.    
Other duties as assigned.

1.    
通过电话，电邮与在线客服工具提供技术支持，解决客户问题；

2.    
根据客户需要进行产品选型，并通过在实验室中复制问题现象，与位于全球多个国家的分公司协调联系等方式为客户提供最佳技术解决方案；

3.    
安排故障产品的返修与更换；

4.    
大型设备的现场安装和培训；

5.    
测试产品原型，存档结果；

6.    
协助研发人员，进行新产品的概念设计与开发；

7.    
参加各类展会，负责展品Demo的设计，现场搭建与调试；

8.    
协助市场部门，负责对各类英文技术文档的翻译文本进行校对；

9.    
公司布置的其他任务

JOB REQUIREMENTS
职位要求

1.    
A Master's Degree or higher in Optics, Opto-electronics, Physics or equivalent;

2.    
Good understanding  in Optics, Mechanics and Electronics;

3.    
Proficiency in both oral and written English;

4.    
Hands on experience in a Photonic lab is highly desired;

5.    
Customer centering mentality;

6.    
Team player.

1.    
硕士学位或以上，光学、光电子、物理等相关专业

2.    
对光学，机械，电子和光纤有良好的理解

3.    
中英文流利，并具备良好中英文的书面和口头交流能力

4.    
光子实验室经验优先

5.    
能以友好，协商的态度解决客户需求

6.    
做事认真负责，具有团队合作精神
