在2008年8月，摩根大通期货有限公司得到中国证券监督管理委员会的批准，在中国境内开展包括商品期货和金融期货在内的期货经纪业务。

Formerly known as Zhongshan Futures Brokerage Co., Limited, and established in May 1996, it became a joint venture with J.P. Morgan Broking (Hong Kong) Limited in December 2007 and has been renamed as J.P. Morgan Futures Co., Ltd.
J.P. Morgan Futures Co., Ltd. received full approval to conduct futures business from the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) in August 2008, allowing the company to undertake brokerage business for both commodity and financial futures.
