Invitation for Applications for Academic Positions in Peking University Health Science Center

Peking University Institute of Systems Biomedicine (PKUISB) is seeking outstanding candidates for academic positions with expertise in any field of biology or medicine including but not limited to Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, Structural Biology, Genetics, Immunology, Systems Biology, and Translational Medicine.

Each successful candidate will hold a joint appointment as principle investigator in both Peking University Health Science Center and the Peking University-Tsinghua University Center for Life Sciences (CLS). An internationally competitive start-up package and salary will be provided.

The PKUISB was established by Peking University Health Science Center in 2010. This Institute is the foundation for a new initiative in cancer investigation using genomic information and advanced technologies. We also aim to identify the pathogenesis and optimum modes of treatment for tumor, cardiovascular disease and other diseases to achieve precision medicine. The Institute has eight research centers including genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, computational biology, molecular genetics, and structural biology, drug discovery and translational medicine. The Center for Life Sciences was established in 2011 as a research and educational initiative at Tsinghua and Peking Universities, and is supported by the central government. The mission of this center is to overhaul and upgrade education and research in biologic sciences, to attract excellent scientists to conduct cutting edge research, and to nurture future generations of innovative scientists and educators.

Applications are invited for multiple tenure-track positions at Peking University Health Science Center and CLS, which include academic ranks of Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor. We offer an internationally competitive start-up package and salary, and provide an excellent interdisciplinary research environment and outstanding core research facilities.
