| 岗位职责 | |
| The main responsibilities include: 1. Teach four classes (3 to 4 credits each) in business, entrepreneurship, and information technology, and coordinate a 2-credit seminar course on entrepreneurship. 2. Serve as the Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship. This is a 25% commitment requiring 225 working hours during this contract period (equivalent to one and a half courses of teaching load). The 225 working hours should be distributed among summer 2016 (May-August), spring 2017 (February-April), and summer 2017(May-August) semesters to keep the programs and activities continuous. 3. Maintain presence at the JI in all (summer 2016, spring 2017, and summer 2017) semesters. 4. Work with faculty and the administration to identify opportunities, develop strategy, and lead, implement, and administer extra-curricular activities that serve students, alumni and faculty. 5. Lead the development, implementation, and administration programs and courses in CFE. 6. Manage allocation of space and funding for student entrepreneurs at the JI. 7. Support technology commercialization and launch of new ventures by JI students. 8. Provide expert consultation related to entrepreneurship and early-stage investment. 9. Help manage relationships with important constituents including business community in Shanghai area, alumni entrepreneurs, and industrial partners. The Teaching Responsibilities include: Your teaching obligation will be up to four and a half courses in this contract period. Most of our undergraduate courses are four credits which require four lecture hours and two office hours per week in a 15-week semester. Graduate classes are three credits. Your teaching responsibilities include: 1. Prepare and conduct classes according to given requirements; 2. Design homework and supervise examinations; 3. Hold office hours; 4. Guide Teaching Assistants for recitation classes and grading; 5. Coordinate invited speeches and field trips if any 6. Publish important course information such as course syllabus, honor code policy, grading policy, and office hours to students before the first class;7. Maintain a course website on an internal course management system containing all the teaching materials and related information. |
