Job Description: -To manage student residential halls; -To manage student discipline and deal with disciplinary cases; -To work with the Student Affairs Office of the University on a number of functions including, but not limited to, Youth League affairs, scholarships and financial aid, military training, social insurance, etc.; -To plan and implement a variety of student development activities; -To supervise the operation and activities of Student Union, student clubs and societies; -To offer student career development workshops and provide career guidance; -To liaise with parents closely on students’ personal growth; -To provide student counselling on a case-by-case basis; -To undertake other tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be required. Qualifications: 1. A master’s degree (overseas higher education background is preferred); 2. Fluent Chinese and English, both written and spoken; 3. Good communication skills; 4. Strong interest and ability in organizing events and activities; 5. Dedicated, enthusiastic, patient, punctual, creative, cooperative, reliable and conscientious; 6. Able to anticipate problems, identify and analyze available options and implement corrective actions. 7. Good interpersonal skills, exhibiting tact, diplomacy, flexibility and courtesy in a professional manner 8. Proven skills in establishing and maintaining accurate, organized records and files; 9. Able to balance multiple, often conflicting priorities with deadline constraints and numerous interruptions; 9. Able to maintain strict confidentiality; 10. Willing to work at weekend or whenever necessary. |
