Vacancies:

Electrical Engineer

Position Description :
1. Design, build, test and improve electronic and electrical systems in our mobile manipulators, including but not limited to: Power/Battery management, wireless communication, EtherCAT based system, motors, high-performance motor driver, odometry/IMU/tactile/tourque and other sensor signal process.
2. Design PCB circuit with optimization towards large current/high-speed/wireless, select chips and components (including seemingly trivial components such as wires and connectors), supervise manufacturing process and ensures product quality when needed.
3. Systematiclly analysis and evaluate perfomance of existing or proposed electrical/electronic systems and improve them.
Postion Requirement :
1. Great Personality, Visionary, World Top 500 University Bachelor , EE or related background;
2. Are comfortable using EDA softwares such as KiCAD/gEDA and work under Linux;
3. Familiar with components and numerous minimum functional circuits, worked with existing solutions e.x. elmo,beckhoff,ATI;
4. Experience in Boston Dynamics, Rethink, Fraunhofer IPA, Maxon, Elmo, JSK Lab and other robotic companies/labs will be highly valued;
5. English as working language, we provide language training till you can speak like native speaker;
Robotic Software Engineer

Position Description :
1. Implementing algorithms and write softwares to enable robots to understand what it saw, move around in environment, and manipulate objects fully autonomously.
2. Programming to make large number of robots think and act faster, Including cloud computing, paralell computing with multiple threads/GPU, optimize code with CPU instruction set;
3. Work with project manager to build robust product, with research scientists to realize cutting-edge robotic techonology.
Postion Requirement :
1. Great Personality, Visionary, World Top 500 University Bachelor , CS or related background;
2. Professional proficiency with C , good coding style e.x. google/ROS. Dynamic language such as python is a plus;
3. Comfortable working under Linux;
4. Familiar with any of following: ROS, Gazebo, Moveit, OpenRave, KDL, PCL, OpenCV will be great plus;
5. Experience in Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Uber and other robotic companies will be valued;
6. English as working language, we provide language training till you can speak like native speaker

Mechanical Engineer

Position Description :
1. Design, build, test and improve mechanical systems in our mobile manipulators, including but not limited to: mobile robot, reduction drive, actuators, lifting mechanism, serial robot arm, grippers/dexterious hands, soft robots.
2. Systematically analysis and evaluate perfomance of existing or proposed mechanical systems and improve them, build testing mechanisms and prototypes. Supervise manufacturing process and ensures product quality when needed.
Postion Requirement :
1. Great Personality, Visionary, World Top 500 University Bachelor , ME or related background;
2. Are comfortable using CAD softwares such as Solidworks;
3. Very curious with how things work and familiar with numerous mechanical structures;
4. Comfortable with fast prototyping machines e.x. CNC, Laser cutter, 3D printer and other manual tools;
4. Experience in Boston Dynamics, Rethink, Fraunhofer IPA, ABB, JSK Lab and other robotic companies/labs will be highly valued;
5. English as working language, we provide language training till you can speak like native speaker

Research Scientist

Position Description :
1. Research Area includes: Motion Plan, Grasping, Dynamics, Computer Vision (2D and 3D), Computer Graphics (especially point cloud processing), Multi-Robot Scheduling, Autonomous Mobile Robot Navigation and Operation Optimization;
2. Establish collaborations between Dorabot Inc. and top research labs in the world;
Postion Requirement :
1. Great Personality, Visionary, PhD of robotic related area from world top 100 university required;
2. Love what you work on, and with top IQ; 140 IQ will be strongly valued (WAIS);
3. English as working language, Mandarin, Japanese and German will be a plus;
4. Experience in Robotic Labs and companies like Willow Garage, Toyota Research and JSK Lab will be valued;
