亚太区研发运营部门IT实习生

 

职位概述：

陶氏化学公司在位于上海的中国亚太区研发运营部门将提供一个为期6个月的实习机会。亚太区研发运营部门为各个研发团队提供综合性支持和服务，以此来推动创新研究的有效性和高效性。该实习生将会与IT专业人士共同合作，为亚太地区的研发团队升级APRE在线服务系统，改善目前设备管理系统（E-maintenance Online System）和文献筛选工具的功能，从而提高了实验室的管理效率和简化创新研究的过程。具体职责范围将包括：

- 设备管理系统的数据库更新，功能升级。

- 将基于客户端的文献筛选工具转换成基于web的应用程序;

- 在线服务系统的网站升级

 

主要职责：

- 在项目经理设计的基础上进行应用功能，组件，网页的开发。

- 阅读和理解现有源代码(, C#, 和Javscript代码)，调试和改进应用性能。

- 撰写开发文档，以确保所有的开发工作的可追踪性和可维护性。

- 及时与项目经理沟通的项目进展和存在问题。

 

技能要求：
- 大学生或研究生
- 基于Web的软件开发经验（ MVC / JS / Web服务），熟悉HTML、XML等网页标记语言。

- 拥有信息管理系统解决方案（网站的内容管理，网站工作流程，Web应用等）的开发经验。

- 具有SQL开发经验（MS SQL Server的首选）。

- 熟悉的SharePoint操作，SharePoint工作流和WebPart开发。

- 熟悉Visual Basic和C＃。

- 良好的口头和书面沟通技巧，组织和文档处理能力
- 拥有积极的态度，工作的热情和持续改进的愿望。

IT Student Intern for Asia Pacific Research Effectiveness

 

Job Overview:
The Dow Chemical Company has a 6-month period Student Intern opportunity in our Asia Pacific Research Effectiveness function located in Shanghai, China.

Asia Pacific Research Effectiveness provides the integrated support & service to AP research groups to drive research effectiveness & efficiency.

The successful candidate will work in collaboration with IT professionals to upgrade APRE online services for the Asia Pacific R&D team. This project is to improve the functionalities of current Equipment Management System (E-maintenance Online System) and Literature Screen Tool so as to enhance the lab management efficiency and innovation research process. Specifically the project scope will involve:

Ø  Database update, function upgrade and web server control on Equipment Management System;

Ø  Transfer client based Literature Screen Tool to web based application;

Ø Online service based website upgrade

 

Core Responsibilities:

Ø Development of application functions, components, web pages designed by Project Manager;

Ø  Capabilities to read and understand source code, to debug and improve application performance;

Ø  Ensure all the development works are well documented and understood;Ø  Communication of status, progress and issues to Project Manager.

 

Qualifications

Ø  University students or postgraduate students

Ø  Strong experience with web based software development ( MVC / JS / Web services)

Ø  Experience in the development of management information system solutions (content management websites, workflow process websites, web application, etc.)

Ø  Experience with markup (HTML, XML, etc.)

Ø  Experience with SQL (MS SQL Server preferred)

Ø Familiar with SharePoint, SharePoint workflow and WebPart development

Ø  Familiar with Visual Basic and C#

Ø  Excellent communication, organization and documentation skills

Ø  Good verbal and written communication skills both in English and Chinese. 

Ø Positive attitude, enthusiasm, motivation and a desire for continuous improvement.

Ø  Commitment for a 6-month internship period and a minimum of 3 days/week work in the Shanghai Dow Center.( in Zhangjiang)
