IBM storage provides rich product lines to support all kinds of data types, workloads and applications. It is the key element in this Information age and data explosion time. When you're enjoying the convenient online shopping, chatting with your friends via smart phones or sharing an interesting photo on Weibo, you are a data producer. All your data must be stored one place, safely and securely, that's IBM storage!

The IBM China Systems Lab Storage and File System teams are fast-growing market leaders with a cutting-edge product suite (DS8000, XIV, SVC, Storwize? V7000, Cloud Storage Solutions, Elastic? Storage) which uses efficient storage infrastructures to reduce costs and improve productivities. Our organization plays a critical role in promoting IBM to a leadership position in the storage and parallel file system industries. Each engineer has the opportunity to develop an exciting, challenging and rewarding career.

There are three roles based on the candidate's background and interests:
- Developer's responsibilities: storage and file system developers will participate in all phases of the product development life cycle. It includes high-level design, low-level design, coding, unit test, and writing technical documents. It is also the developer's responsibilities to support and resolve defects or issues from customers;
- Tester's responsibilities: storage and file system testers will participate in different product quality assurance phases. This includes component test, baseline test, function verification test and system level test. Our tester's ultimate goal is to deliver state-of-the-art products to our customers;
- Supporter's responsibilities: storage and file system supporters will work with IBM client side by side. They will be the savior for client failure. This includes customer communication, understanding customer's business, tracking the progress of problem solving and gaining comprehensive knowledge about the storage products.

Requirements: 
- Bachelor's degree or above, related to CS or EE;
- Proficiency in programming languages: Java /C/C++ or script (python/shell/perl);
- Fluency in written and spoken English;
-For Elastic? Storage developers, deep OS kernel knowledge and hands-on kernel programming experience are required. Parallel/Distributed software development experience is preferred;
- For Cloud Storage Solutions developer/tester, VMware/Microsoft/OpenStack knowledge is  preferred;
- For testers, basic knowledge of test design and test execution process;
- Linux/UNIX platform experience preferred;
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
- Self-motivation and eagerness to learn;
- Good team spirit and sense of responsibility;
- Good communication skills.
