China's Data Analytics Institute.
The Deloitte Analytics Institute is a Center of Excellence enabling the use of analytics in all the functions of Deloitte: Consulting, Enterprise Risk Services, Financial Advisory Services, Tax and Audit. The DAI is located in Chongqing China, which is a 30 + millions people urban zone at the heart of Western China development.
Today's business environment generates vast
amounts of data and information, and almost all of this information is captured
and stored in computerized form. DA helps business, finance and risk managers
understand this electronic data and put it into context. Our clients include the
largest companies in banking, insurance, manufacturing, telecommunications,
technology, energy and resources and other industries.
As an intern for
Deloitte's Data Analytics Institute, you will
- Provide professional
consulting services, integrating advisory analytics in a number of Deloitte
service offerings;
- Deliver predictive analytic solutions, including the
participation on active client engagements delivering complex business and
technical solutions;
- Understand clients' business requirements and develop
and deliver solutions based upon client needs;
- Participate on engagement
teams consisting of various technical disciplines;
- Develop best practices,
to ensure repeatability, quality, and consistency across engagements in
China.
Qualifications:
- Working towards a Bachelor or
Master's degree in Computer Science, Econometrics, Statistics or Accounting
Science.
- Knowledge of statistical analytical techniques, with some
experience in data collection, data quality, and research techniques.

Programming skills preferred in Java, C++, Python and SQL.

- Proficient in Mandarin and English.)
