我们对工程师的要求如下：
1、硕士以上学历，计算机及相关专业；
2、对如下技术有深厚的知识积累：network, Operating System, Compiler Principle, Algorithm, TCP/IP protocol etc.；
3、精通一种或两种以上开发语言，比如：/C++,Python,Shell,Assembler,Scripting,Java,JavaScript,Etc.
4、有虚拟化和云技术背景优先考虑；
5、Linux操作系统经验优先考虑；
6、英文听说读写流利；
7、善于学习，善于分析，有创新能力，能自我驱动。
The IBM China Virtualization team, an integral part of global IBM system, serves as a center of technical competency for multiple important technologies in IBM. It is the key contributor of IBM system business unit and the technical liaison to IBM's Linux Distribution Partners.It strongly supports IBM cloud, Linux and OpenPower strategy.
It covers IBM Power System and z System which are deployed world widely for industry, bank, and governments, provides the most competitive computing and cloud service. As software engineer of this team, you will participate in multiple area development according to detail product requirement. It includes z/VM, PowerVC, Power KVM, Open Power, Nagios, Linux Kernel, KVM, Openstack and other open source development community. The Virtualization team focuses on multi-type Virtual Machine kernel development, open hypervisor development, OpenStack development, platform monitoring & management development, and Linux Operating System development for IBM Power Systems and System z; provides technical competency for IBM Servers, Software, Storage, Services and other key groups regarding Linux. We develop not only IBM distribution to support product but also deep cooperate with the Open Source community to influence the technical directions.
We are seeking software engineers for design, development and test. You can work closely with worldwide experts and community leaders to design and develop next era virtualization platform, which supports IBM strategy implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above, CS major or related;
- Solid knowledge on network, Operating System, Compiler Principle, Algorithm, TCP/IP protocol etc.;
- Have good programming skills (for example: C/C++, Python, shell, assembler, scripting, Java, JavaScript, etc.);
- Virtualization/Cloud background is preferred;
- Linux system background is preferred;
- Knowledge of Operating system is a plus;
- Good team player and quick learner;
- Good communication skills and responsibility;
- Good oral and written skills in English;
- Creative thinking and problem solving skills are strongly preferred;
- Self-motivated and passionate for Linux technology are strongly preferred.
