Theprimitive name of Shanghai Tech Center (hereinafter: STC)  is TRW Automotive research and development(Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (STC) Mechanical Engineer Trainee

 (Braking/Steering/Electronics)

Major Responsibilities 

 

• Construction of mechanical,pneumatic and hydraulic brake systems and system components.
• Create basic design in linewith internal and customer requirements, specifications and guidelinesaccording to instructions and cost targets.
• Documentation of the designand all other relevant processes according to Engineering and qualityguidelines.
• Development and support forthe Application of components on components systems.
• Creation of specificationsfor new components and systems.
• Utilize engineeringdisciplines including Six Sigma, DFMEA, DFM/DFA and CAE to develop robustdesign solutions

 

Requirement:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in mechanical engineering,automotive engineering or commercial.
• Problem solving capability and drive for results.
• Good influencing and leadership skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong team player and quick learner.

 

 

(STC) Simulation/NVH Engineer Trainee (OSS)

Major Responsibilities 

 

• Coordination of customers'project concerning the multidisciplinary taskacoustics and
• Acoustic evaluation ofoccupant safety systems integrated in the vehicle at customer site: testplanning and management of prototype setups, conception and surveillance oftesting, evaluation and presentation of result as well as cooperation withother departments and external partners.
• Basic investigations: noisebehaviour of occupant safety systems in vehicle.

 

Requirement:

• Graduate the master from majors of mechanicalengineering, electrical engineering, astronautics or physics focused ontechnical acoustics/ vibration Problem solving capability and drive forresults.
• Keen perception, strong assertions, outstandingcommunication skills, structured working manner even under pressure andflexibility.

(STC) SoftwareEngineer Trainee (Steering/Electronics)

Key Responsibilities 

• Analyze,generate and maintain components control functional requirements
• Generateand maintain functional model within Matlab/Simulink

• Performcoding and related static and dynamic tests (unit test, model in the loop test,integrated bench test)

Key Responsibilities 

• Leador support analysis activities as required - DFMEA, DRBFM, PFMEA, etc.

• To lead system integrationfor brake application systems.

• Develop system/componenttest plans and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, commission,service and maintain the test equipments and the test fixtures/jigs/harnessesto the highest possible standard, with support from other engineers and/oroutside contract resource as applicable to a project;
• Perform test set-ups forautomotive safety electronics, steering electronics, braking electronics anddriver assistance electronics for environmental, durability, EMC and functionaltests.
• Responsible for the specification,implementation, and support of Functional Test Systems that satisfy technical,quality, and commercial needs of the business with the support from theengineers at headquarter.
• Produce test equipmentsolutions, ensuring optimum test performance, minimum test times, andcommonality of design where possible while satisfying accuracy, Health Safety& Environmental, reliability, maintainability, usability, flexibilityrequirements;
• Provide support for theoutsourced labs in terms of test set-up, test specification, continuousimprovement activities, test yield improvement and equipment breakdowns.
