First Beijing Investment Ltd. manages FMC's Greater China fund, FM First Hong Kong Fund. With a strong team of experienced professionals, the fund has accumulated a total of +80% return over the past three years.

Job base: Shanghai

Job description:

A Fundamental Research Analyst in First Beijing Investment Ltd., with competitive compensation and nice life-style, is expected to undertake the following responsibilities:

• Act as a self-starter to identify, research and recommend fundamentally undervalued stocks as initial coverage of potential investment opportunities.
• Participate in conference calls with company management to fulfill follow-up research tasks.
• Represent First Beijing investment team to conduct ground-investigations to listed companies.
• A Fundamental Research Analyst has the option to work at home.

The Fundamental Research Analyst Program is expected to last for around 3 months and then with chance of return-offer.

Qualifications:

• Strong motivation and passion for buy-side investment research.
• Solid learning capacity, good working diligence and a habit of innovative idea-generation and critical thinking.
• Relevant Major in Finance or Economics. Good knowledge in accounting is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in fundamental equity research and/or personal trading record is a big plus.
• Long-term internship commitment
• Living in Pudong, Shanghai would be preferred
