Job Description:

As a SSD Firmware Verification Intern at Micron Technology, Inc., you
will be responsible for firmware verification, execution and failure analysis. Successful completion of these responsibilities requires skill in failure analysis/problem solving, intrinsic SSD FW and test knowledge, and experience with automation tool/ office tool.

You will support test cycle execution, build test environment. You will work closely with firmware verification design team, firmware verification execution team and firmware design team.

Responsibility:

• Execute Test Cycle using Automation Tool

• Design batch file to improve work efficiency.

• Learn how to analysis and debug issues.

Requirements:

• Experience of software/firmware test, debugging and problem solving

• Experience with lab machines is a plus, including meter, Logic Analyzer, scope, protocol (SAS/SATA/PCIE/USB/I2C) Analyzer

• Knowledge of storage (Flash, SSD, storage controller, and storage protocols (FC/SAS/SATA/PCIE)) is value-add

• Familiar with any script language, python language is value-add

• Familiar with office software tools (Outlook, excel, word, power point software)

• Good communication skill

• Good at English (both written and verbal)

• Ability to handle short-notice needs/requests

• Positive attitude

• Willing to learn and take the challenge

• Able to work at least 3 days per week

Education:

• BS in Electronics Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
