Job Purpose:
Weare looking for a PHP developer who is dedicated to his craft, writes code thatis proud of and can hit the ground running. We need you to write beautiful,fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves thecode-base of our products in meaningful ways.
Youwill be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of theongoing software development from the initial specification, through todeveloping, testing and launching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the programming code from scratch or by adapting existing software graphics packages and software to meet business requirements
- Testing the software and identifying any technical problems and hitches
- Determining any functionality that the site must support and developing PHP content based on practical approved layout
Key Qualifications:
- Degrees in computer science, IT, software engineering, web development, programming or other subjects
- 3+ years of professional experiencein software graphics manipulation and web programming
- Excellent knowledge of web technologies including PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, AJAX, Symfony framework experience.
- Excellent knowledge of OO programming principles
- Creativity and imagination
- Very strong math, logic, and analytical skills
- Ability to adapt and pick up new techniques and technology
- Must be thorough and precise in their work
- Ability to work independently or in a teamenvironment is essential
- Knowledgeof international web standards and protocols
- Troubleshoot,test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strongoptimization and functionality
- Excellent English (oral and written) required, Software development only in English language
