Position Description:

With mechanical, automation or material education background, preferably familiar with Auto CAD for design. Utilize the scientific method for designing experiments intended to improve existing and/or develop new processes for product manufacturing. Work on a variety of problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.  Exercise judgment with generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.  Identify, scope, and implement cost reduction projects.  Monitor daily operations for process consistency.  Interact well with others to accomplish team based decision making and problem resolution.  Provide detailed communication on work to both internal and external work groups.  
Key Responsibilities:
1.Production support, process control and improvement, material improvement and product minor optimization for optical cable manufacturing.
2.Assist BOM creation/ modification and process card as products requirement.
3.Recommend/execute  process improvements for quality, yield and cost improvement
4.Documentation & Training of improvements and process understanding to Operations/Maintenance for sustainability
5.Individual contributor on projects, along with management of PEx improvement projects
6.Documentation of status and issues and developing plans to resolve issue
7.Design process experiments to determine and optimize important process variables and product parameters
8.Assist new product and material introduction, new production line / equipment prove-in
9.Identify and implement product cost reductions, scrap reductions, and design improvements
10.Support the new material qualification, and manufacturing experiment for new type products development or new process improvement.

Education & Experience:

?Master’s degree or above
?Major in mechanical, electrical, or materials engineering.
