Position Objective:
Cargill Strategy & Business Development (SBD) is looking to hire Business Analyst having strong analytical skills.
This position aims at supporting Strategy & Business Development (SBD) & client teams in preparing, documenting & communicating analysis of business strategies and business development opportunities.

Principal Accountabilities:
Strategy Development (50%)
Uses a basic understanding of strategy, performs research including data gathering, conducting detailed analytics, creating presentation materials to support business operations and presenting findings to manager or project leader.
Develops recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations and determines best practices and suggests how to improve current practices using basic knowledge and frequent application of SBD principals, theories, concepts, and techniques.
Works with project teams on topics within the SBD group’s core offerings to deliver impact for Cargill's commercial functional units.
Internally supports the SBD strategy and corporate development practice thought leadership.
Business Development (50%)
Scans environment for leveraging databases and information specialists to understand how each might relate to Cargill businesses.
Helps to develop and monitor profitability, productivity, and growth targets.
Assists with preparation of transaction proposals, provide support in recommending financial and nonfinancial strategic objectives and alternatives. Also to support implementation and integration planning and execution.
Assists in planning and coordinating business reviews.
Contributes to implementation of business development projects. May work with commercial team to determine their needs. Contributes to the development of information database on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in a recognized University
Relevant working experience of 2– 4 years
Strong analytical skills
Self starter, strong individual motivation and innovative
Strong communication skills. Able to articulate clearly and concisely
Proficient in Microsoft Office, ie: Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to the new team environments
Maturity to handle confidential information and work with senior business leaders
Flexibility to travel
Professional ambition to advance in a commercial role
Efficient in spoken & written English and Mandarin language (read, write, speak)
