Position: Junior Research Analyst (Fresh Graduate) Location: Shanghai, Lujiazui Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for China oilseeds fundament analysis or other product assigned 2. Maintain and develop China oilseeds and or other Ag commodities that are assigned 3. Necessary tours including crop tours/industrial tours, exploring contacts 4. Understanding economics surround the commodity responsible and able to provide trading ideas following respective price analysis 5. Compile fundamental database, price database 6. Build forecast for responsible commodity followed by reasonable analysis and logic 7. Exploring contacts, attending necessary conferences, organizing trips 8. Other tasks assigned Requirement: 1. Degree: Top university bachelor or master in Agriculture, Economics, Statistics, Econometrics or related 2. English/Chinese must be fluent in working environment 3. Excellent in Excel/PPT 4. Power query is a plus 5. Programming in VBA is a plus 6. Programming in Database (SQL or Access) is a plus 7. Basis Commodity knowledge is a plus Characteristic: 1. Eager, willing to learn 2. Hard working 3. Positive thinking 4. Self – motivated 5. Honesty The role is based in Shanghai sitting in our China hq within Ag global research team. He/She will be closely working with Head of Research in China and interacting with global team, and attending global conference calls. He/She will be trained to be a top analyst in one of the China ag commodities within a few years.
