Job Description:
> Prototype Sample Building: First priority is the quality and timing of Prototype Building Definition of improved belt specification to overcome functional and durability problems. Improve belt quality and try to reduce process cost, scrap cost, and material cost (local sources) Organization of the needed raw material for sample Building. Fulfill the customer delivery requirements. Documentation the test results of Prototypes in Customer Product Data sheet
> Top R&D Task: Definition of TOP R&D Task according segment strategy, APAC KAM strategy. Adjust the TOP R&D task with KAM, Application engineers, local Production and Headquarter. Define project plan to reach the TOP targets, and regular review the milestones of the project. Support the application engineering, production and quality department to satisfy customer requirements
> Define product specification, material spec., sample building process and the belt design: Creation of detailed product specification to define raw material and process steps for building prototype belts. Define the sample mold design/ dimensioning for new Belt dimension. Control the product launch process to get a stable production process (low scrap rate, robust product data). Coordinate the Prototype Review together with Prod., Material Dev., Logistic, Application Eng
> Support Quality Management to evaluate process ability, evaluate scrap rate of sample production and the sample quality. Prepare and support Hand over from R&D prototyping, to Industrial engineering pre-series
> DVP Design Verification Plan: Definition of DVP Plan and testing of Belts according the DVP and Control plan. (DVP = Design verification plan) Validate with defined Test program if the prototypes will fulfill the Customer requirement book and the internal DVP Test specification including NVH Test. Coordination of dynamic engine Measurements at local customer test area Define product audit plan to validate the sample and the series quality level
> Create Belt drawing Support FMEA analysis: Preparation of CAD Belt drawing. Including Geometries Data (length, width, height), Profile Data: Profile geometries
> Functional Data: target for stiffness, Cord, Fabric adhesion ….Support FMEA Team to improve the Failure Mode effective Analysis
> Supplier Development: Define together with MD Material development the Testing and Definition of Specifications of raw material supplier (Textile, Cord, Fabric, Coating process // Rubber).Check availability of local raw material sources Development of new alternative local material supplier, if necessary support of supplier audit
> Belt testing, LAB Testing: Define with test department, if needed, new test methods to check product quality. (Example CoF Friction) Organize the prototype Belt testing at internal test center and internal LAB. Evaluate the test results, documentation of test results for discussion with application engineering and for discussion with customer
> Returned part analysis: Analysis of returned parts. Evaluate the parts according existing Failure mode overview. Document the finding with Micros kop Photos, and overview of technical Belt Data like changing of belt geometry and changing in functional Data (cord tensile strength, adhesion) Analyze the root cause for belt failure. Define R&D steps to improve the Products quality to avoid durability and function problems
Job Requirement:
> Bachelor's degree or above, major in Mechanical, Chemistry or other related
> Good command of both oral and written English
> Knowledge in power transmission systems and rubber materials
> Good negotiation skills and project management skills
