• Conduct the supply and demand analysis to provide a solid view and forecast for China’s corn and corn deep processing industry, maintain an in-depth understanding of macro

• economic aspects impacting SSC business and effectively communicate on those key macro economic, policy and political changes

• Develop contacts both within Cargill and externally, enhance and improve BU’s analytical capacity and market intelligence, taking views from external sources to supplement in-house bottom-up analysis on demand sectors

• Assist risk management team in managing raw material (corn & starch) sourcing

• strategies for various location plants, and risk hedging plans;

• Provide suggestions to sales team for end products pricing and sales strategies; Assist sales in providing value-added services to strategic key accounts

• Monitor Futures changes (DCE & CBOT corn & ZCE Sugar etc.) as a key indicator for market trend, and explore opportunities to use Futures as an effective hedging tool for the BU

• Work closely with different functional teams within the BU, namely sales, supply chain, Finance, operations and other business/product managers to ensure BU commodity position management

-Preparation of BU commodity position presentations and reports

-Assists in coordinating controls for standard reported financial information and accounting/operational processes from risk management perspective

-Work with market intelligence team to build and maintain long-term China corn processing SnD database

• Established knowledge about grains & oilseeds industry

• Have passion for the agriculture industry and interests in commodity trading and risk management

• Strong logic thinking,be able to carry out independent fact-based analysis

• Strong commucation skills, be able to communicate effectively with different levels in the organization; Solid presentation skills;

• Pro-active, Challenges the status quo and it willing to voice and champion a different

Education, Experience, Skills教育背景，工作经验，专业技能

Required Qualifications

• University Graduates

• Contacts in the grains & food industries and/or with other research houses is a plus

• Agriculture commodity knowledge

• Strong communication skill

• Advanced level in MS office applications, i.e. Excel, PPT and Word

• Demonstrate strong logic thinking and learning capability

• Native Mandarine speaker

• Fluent English is a plus
