?Job Description: This is an entry level, software engineering oriented system engineer position. The engineer will be part of the vertical system engineering team composed with hardware engineering, software engineering, firmware engineering, FPGA design engineering, signal integrity engineering, and others. The IC products to work with include Ethernet/Automotive PHY/Switch/SoC, high speed SerDes based PHYs, and so on. System engineering team is responsible for many post silicon engineering efforts like product validation, platform development, collateral development, technical support and so on.

?Job Responsibilities:  –Work with ASIC team to write FW based test plans for SOHO/SMB/Automotive Switches, PHYs –Write and execute C/FW test cases in RTL Sim, Palladium, FPGA and Silicon environment –Expand test cases to run overnight to exercise corner cases and random scenarios –Support FW team on debugging HW/RTL issues  

?Job Requirement:

–BS/MS in EE/CE/CS.

–Must have good C/C++ program skill.

 –Hands on experience with embedded CPUs   ARM, ARC, PPC are preferred

–Hands on experience with SoC low level FW/drivers/HAL are preferred. –Hands on experience with Ethernet networking protocols are preferred –Familiarity with MS .net, Ethernet and network protocols are some pluses.
