JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Sales Executive – China
Date: June 15th 2017
Department: Library Sales
Reports To: Assistant Library Sales Manager – China

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Visiting often universities to generate leads and interest for these content. Visiting faculty with the Senior Faculty Liaison Executive on joint or single visits to promote OA and learning pillar
Generating new/additional revenue for learning pillars including working closely with the Product Champions
Working with the Assistant Library Sales Manager to develop sales and market channel strategy for both learning pillar and non-academic market
Preparing weekly territory sales visit reports
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the following:
possess a basic degree preferably in the area of social sciences
be an excellent communicator, with strong presentation and negotiation skills
be well organized with ability to prioritize a varied workload and adhere to tight deadlines
have a high level of initiative, motivated and proven sales track record
be able to travel within China extensively and be prepared to work over weekends
be a team player who is highly motivated to work under pressure
LANGUAGE, ANALYTICAL SKILLS AND PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Have an eye for details
be well organized with ability to prioritize a varied workload
have a high level of initiative
