Innovation Trainee (2 Openings based in Shanghai)
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
During your trainee program you will establish a network in
the global Covestro Organization. From the beginning and during your 24-months
employment in different regions, business units, and functions in our
headquarters and foreign subsidiaries you will take over exciting fields of
activity. During the traineeship you will assume following tasks:
? You will support and lead new, interdisciplinary
projects/studies under the guidance of your manager and mentor.
? Your new role will include conceptualization,
implementation, and evaluation of studies/experiments, interpretation of
results, and presentation to diverse committees.
? Potential areas of focus: Sustainability, alternative raw
materials, composite materials, fire-retardant materials, CAE (computer-aided
engineering), application process technology, or digitalization.
WHO YOU ARE
? You hold a PhD degree in natural sciences in the area of
chemistry, materials science, or engineering, ideally followed by a
postdoctoral stay in an internationally accredited institution.
? You gained experience through business specific,
preferably international, internships or studies abroad and already gained
first leadership experience.
? You have an open-minded and assertive personality, enjoy
working in a team, and are willing to work abroad on international assignments
within the Covestro Group.
? You are self-motivated, independent, and with
entrepreneurial spirit.
? You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Chinese skills would be an advantage.
