Purchasing Programme

Our Purchasing team makes sure we get the very best value without compromising on quality. With billions spent on goods and services every single year, that’s no small task. So we only look for bright, curious interns who are ready to make a real impact as part of our talented and driven team.

Over the course of 18 months during our program, you'll be exposed to everything from research and new source evaluation to contract negotiation. You’ll also get involved in improving supplier performance as part of challenging assignments, take on forecasting and planning and benefit from shouldering responsibility as a member of our high-performing, highly qualified team.

It’s about being tested like never before as you take on roles in Buying, Supplier Development, Future Sourcing and Materials Resource Planning. Prove yourself on these placements and you may be invited to take the next step and join our graduate programme.

Who will be eligible to apply for the summer internship

You’ll need to be completing least a Bachelor Degree in 2018 from a well-known University with a high GPA score. If you are a completing a Master Degree, please also demonstrate to us the projects you have been involved with and what makes them special. We prefer courses in, but not limited to, International Business, Business Management and Marketing (or other joint honour), Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, Aerospace Engineering, Aero Thermal Engineering, Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Materials Engineering.

On top of that, you’ll need to be eager to learn, take ownership, team up to excel. You’ll think differently about the challenges we face, and you’ll never be short of ideas on how we can improve.

What is next?

You’ll have the opportunity to participate in our "Graduate Development Program" which is a tailored 18 month program that includes 3-5 job rotations with intensive training and coaching, at least one overseas rotation opportunity and One on One Career Development consultation.
