Position Overview

Apple is looking for dynamic, highly-motivated candidates who “think differently” to further expand the China-rnbased SDM, SDE teams. This team will be working on Apple’s latest and greatest products while incorporating andrnimproving upon the strategies that are central to the world’s greatest supply chain.

SDM – The China Supply Demand Planner will be the voice of Apple’s worldwide customers to the production andrnoperations teams in China. As the bridge between Apple’s headquarters and Apple’s Asia Operations team andrnOEM partners, this person will own the execution of supply plans within one or more OEM production facilities tornmeet Apple’s customer demand requirements. This person will act as focal point in the development, communica-tion, and execution of a factory’s daily product supply and contingency plans and will track and drive to achievernweekly targets while working with WW and regional SDM teams.

SDE – The China Supply Demand Execution team provides worldwide support for three regional SDE groupsrn(Americas, Europe, and Asia), while based in Shanghai, China. This team ensures proper product allocation execu-rntion through the matching of supply and demand between multiple distribution sites while following directionrnprovided by regional SDE teams. The overall mission is to own and implement the efficient execution of allocationrnplans, to ensure that all shipments occur as required to meet Apple’s billings plans and financial goals, while ensur-ing customer satisfaction.

Education / Experiences

• The successful candidate will preferably major in supply chain management or statistics.

• The candidate must have good analytic skill and strong data sensitivity.

• The candidate must be able to exert tactful influence in a matrixed organization while working as part of a teamrnand consistently utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Candidate should be comfortable presenting to senior management.

• Additional requirements include the ability to think strategically and execute tactically, a persistent attention torndetail, and a high level of comfort in working with numbers.

• Strong Excel, SAP/ERP background preferred.

• BA/BS required; MBA preferred.
