2018 Hysan Management Trainee (MT) Program

Program Objective

· To meet Hysan’s long-term business strategies, the MT program is designed to develop talented university graduates with high potential to fuel the leadership pipeline of Hysan.

· The 24-month MT program is part of our Talent Management initiatives which aims at equipping high caliber individuals with well round business acumen through structured on-the-job-rotation assignments and a series of personal effectiveness program.

Program Details

The MT program covers attachments with our core business functions such as Office or Retails Leasing, Property Management, Investment & Development, Projects, Marketing etc. ensuring individuals acquire a wide spectrum of knowledge and skills as they develop their career in Hysan. Our trainees will also be provided with different learning events like workshops, site visit to develop the crucial skills to pave the way for an accelerated career development.

Proposed MT Training Program

Orientation

Familiarization at different functions

? To understand our business and the general operations of different functions.

4 Attachments
(6-month each)

Job Rotations:

Mandatory – 4-5 Core Business Functions

? Retail Leasing

? Office/ Residential Leasing

? Marketing

? Property Mgmt

? Projects (depends on discipline)

Optional – Depends on education discipline

? Finance

? Investment & Development

? IT

? Legal & Company Secretary

? HR

By end of each attachment, trainees have to go through an evaluation to assess the learning progress and the achievement of learning objectives.

Ad hoc Learning Events

Throughout the program, different learning events and projects will be offered to increase exposure to business operations and accelerate learning. The learning events include participating and supporting in the Interim Results Announcement, Annual General Meeting, Research and Focus Group …etc.

Placement

Upon successfully completion of the placements and learning events, and successfully pass the evaluation, trainees will be offered placement base on the Company business needs and the individuals’ career aspiration.

Career Development and Progression

Upon completion of the 24-month program, the management trainees will grow their career with Hysan along this career path.
