We are looking for individuals with a strong interest and technical aptitude in project management, OR building analysis, OR field engineering, that will allow us to help the individual build as successful career in the green building industry. EMSI interns will be given opportunities to learn and try different roles in shaping sustainability in the China building industry, from building simulation to sustainable design, from commissioning to energy audits. We do not expect interns to have full functional capabilities yet, but we expect a strong aptitude and willingness to learn.

Main Responsibilities:

   1. Degree program in Building environment and facilities engineering 建筑环境与设备工程, or

     HVAC 暖通空调, or thermal engineering工程热物理, architecture science建筑科学.

   2. Fundamental understanding of building physics, including thermal, airflow, lighting, and

     acoustics. Fundamental understanding of building simulation and analysis, including equest,

     Radiance, Fluent.

   3. Fundamental statistical and analysis concepts.

   4. Basic programming in C++, C#, scripting in Lua.

   5. We are looking for a 4th year intern, able to commit more than 3 days a week, and a strong

     interest and commitment to sustainable design. EMSI provides quality training and long term

     grooming of candidates. Again, one of the most important things we are looking for is a

     positive attitude and aptitude to learn with us.Engineering Intern with possibility of converting

     to a full time position (Technical Engineer/Project Engineer) upon graduation.
