Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize software for embedded automotive navigation subsystem.

• Develop and optimize project specified service associated with Navigation.

• Analyze existing software in order to be capable to make technical assessments.

• Perform code reviews and other activities to ensure high-quality results.

• Provide unit tests and documentation for software modules.

• Coding following HARMAN software processes and object-oriented and embedded software industry best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

• Have experience in navigation engine development in C

• Have experience in object-oriented software design

• Map data model and navigation software development experience

• Navigation Algorithm Experience(e.g. route calculation, guidance, POI search) is a plus

• Excellent relationship building skills

• Experience developing and debugging object-oriented software in a real-time, embedded, multi-processor, multi-interface environment is a plus

• Experience in operating systems LINUX or QNX

• Experience with  development tools (Perforce, MS Visual Studio, Makefile, Doxygen, CPPUnits, Perl)

• Excellent English language skills

• Relational DB knowledge (e.g. MySQL, SQLite) ;
