Job Summary
Apple is looking for a Channel Financing Program Manager to design and drive consumer affordability solutions and commercial financing efforts in Apple’s reseller channels in China through banks and non-bank institutions.
Key Qualifications
10-15 years Experience in individual and corporate credit risk assessment and implementation of financing programs preferably in the commercial financing arm of a consumer goods retailer, a commercial bank or non-bank institution in mainland China.
Knowledgeable about the operational processes and considerations required to bring financing offers to markets. This includes credit assessment, offer design, payment options, merchant requirements and risk mitigation and economics.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, anticipate and react to frequently changing business conditions with proven ability to perform under tight deadlines.
Hands on individual with high level of business acumen and understanding of the factors influencing the business and economic environment.
Ability to influence while working in a collaborative team environment. Team player with ability to work effectively across organizations and cross culturally and interface with all levels of management in a global setting.
Customer focus with strong customer relationship competency
Possess excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to different level of staffs including senior management. Reads and writes business Mandarin and English.?
Description
Negotiates with banks and non-bank institutions to design and implement attractive financing offers for consumers and enterprises allowing a wider range of customers to access our products and accelerate sales growth in China.
Meet financing partners and resellers on a regular basis to assess performance of programs and fine-tune along the way to increase effectiveness.
Prepare periodic reviews, track effectiveness and ROI of financing programs and reporting to Management
Monitor changes in economic, industry, and customer conditions and maintain communication with various business units to evaluate potential changes in Programs.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the range of consumer financing offerings available in across Apple and non-Apple products in all retail channels.
Build strong relationship with business partners in Sales Finance, Sales, Treasury, Operations, Global Finance Shared Service, and Credit.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting required.
MBA and/or bank credit training is a strong plus.
Sales Operations
Sr. Business Analyst - Beijing
Apple’s Greater China Channel Sales team is responsible for the development and implementation of all indirect sales efforts for Apple’s full product offerings in China, HK, and Taiwan. To continue growing our GC business, we’re looking for senior sales and business analysts to join our team as Program or Product Managers. Role may require the analysis of all product lines across various route-to-markets within the GC retail landscape.
Scope:
I. Sales Performance Analysis
? Review sales KPI (sell-through, productivity, inventory, traffic, etc.) on a weekly, quarterly, and yearly basis
? Analyze consumer demand trends, product lifecycles, and retail seasonality
? Communicate and present key insights and opportunities to GC and WW stakeholders
II. Market Analysis
? Continuously build knowledge of the consumer electronics market, including but not limited to smartphones, tablets, PC, wearables, etc.
? Understand the current retail environment and purchasing trends both online and offline
? Analysis of competitor brands and consumer behavior
III. Channel Planning & Forecast
? Evaluate ongoing business needs and effectiveness of existing retail programs
? Support the development of new retail programs or sales initiatives
? Analyze channel performance and highlight risks and opportunities
? Design pilot programs and support implementation
? Develop sales forecasts and strategies to provide our consumers with the best products and services
Requirements:
MBA or equivalent Master’s Degree required
Minimum 3 years of work experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English, Bilingual preferred (Mandarin and English)
Management consulting background a plus
International experience a plus
