OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION

Handling the  importation, assist in demand & supply planning, assist in Master data

RESPONSIBILITY

Importation 70%  

  1. To be responsible for the efficiency of incoming and outgoing shipments and cooperate with Registration team, to make sure each shipment complete the custom clearance & CIQ process on-time and properly.

  2. To proactively prepare and monitor incoming shipment documentation.

  3. To be responsible for making sure goods are received efficiently, properly and accurately => physically and also data entries in the inventory system.

  4. To review the performance of importation agent and service providers to make sure we receive the highest level of service at the most economical costs.

  5. Conduct periodic internal inspection to ensure compliance of procedures.

  6. To inform well in advance anticipations of any problems, inefficiencies or difficulties to the Supply chain manager.

  7. Necessary communication with regional and headquarter logistics for shipment issues and system issues.

  8. Continuously improving the Custom clearance process both internally and externally.

Planning 20%  

  1. Collect information regarding future products launches, end-of-life, promotional activities, review and challenge forecast assumptions, facilitate collaborative monthly S&OP process cycle and discuss based on relevant KPI reporting, analysis and follow-up.

  2. Coordinate the China forecast committee with relevant business teams

  3. Compile & analyze on Supply Chain KPIs by reviewing system parameters (Safety Stocks, Lead Time, ABCD, etc)..

  4. Monitor delivery status from Singapore / Paris & follow up purchase order, check missing orders and manage customers’ returns in collaboration with Customer Service and Finance.

  5. In coordination with regional team, ensure consistent update of system parameters on inventory management

Master Data 5%  

Backup support for local master data.

Ad-hoc 5%

Participate in supply chain projects by managing new initiatives as goal setting; assist with miscellaneous projects as needed.


SKILLS

Years of Experience:

1 year or above intern working experiences in FMCG industry are preferred.

Education/Training:

BA/BS college degree or its equivalent.

Other:

  1. Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, planning methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.

  2. Strong knowledge on other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.

  3. This position requires strong analytical, consensus decision making, and presentation skills and problem solving skills.

  4. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process.

  5. Good facilitation skills are required.

  6. Be proactive and detail oriented.

  7. Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

  8. Work under pressure.
