Now EGS is looking for high caliber individuals to join our Hong Kong office:

Graduate Geoscientist

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for data acquisition, interpretation, processing and reporting for various marine/ land geophysical surveys.

• On-board or on-site data quality QC.
• On-line or office-based survey data processing and interpretation.
• Assist in office reporting.
• Supporting development of geophysical/ mapping software packages.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will combine the following skills and experience:

• BSc. and/or MSc. in geophysics, geology or other disciplines closely related to earth sciences.

• Knowledge in computer programming, remote sensing, GIS and/or professional geophysical data processing software packages is an advantage.

• Any experience in academic or industrial purposed surveys is an advantage.

• Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.

• Good team-player with self-motivation.

• Essentially, ready for frequent oversea travels and working in the marine environment.
